Bramble Energy are proud to announce that our CEO Dr Tom Mason will be presenting at the 10th annual Ecosummit 2019 in Berlin. The Ecosummit accelerates smart green startups, investors and corporates; with a vision to automate sustainability in energy, mobility and cities.
When it comes to the clean transportation sector, it’s not uncommon to hear: “Batteries have won.” While the sight of a near-silent electric vehicles (EVs) zipping around cities is no longer a rarity, they are unfortunately not the panacea for our clean transportation needs. They are still limited by long recharging times, the ability to scale manufacture, and a lack of recycling technology. I’m not for a moment suggesting we scrap the lot and start again from scratch; but let’s for a moment go back in time.
At Bramble Energy, we pride ourselves on our involvement in educational outreach activities; whether that’s demonstrating how fuel cells work at events and exhibition such as the Shell eco-marathon (click here for more) or dispelling the rumours surrounding the safety of hydrogen as a fuel.
As a founder of Bramble Energy I often get asked how the company began and what we are trying to achieve. I can’t speak for my co-founders Professor Anthony Kucernak and Professor Dan Brett but I can attempt to shed light on my motivations.
